We’ve been staying at my family’s beach house on Bainbridge Island this week and, due to the stormy weather, spending lots of time inside. We’ve been making soups, baking cookies, reading books, knitting, and simply enjoying this cosy season while we have it (it’s the first time we’ve experienced autumn in two years, and we’re making the most of it).
The girls have been staying cute and cosy in their merino wool long johns from US company Chasing Windmills. They wear them to bed each night and keep them on during the day layered under their normal clothing. These are some of the softest wool long johns I’ve ever felt, and the girls clearly agree as they won’t take them off!
Chasing Windmills was started by Sarah and JP – a husband and wife team — who have set out to create super soft merino wool clothing in pretty, neutral colours. In addition to the cute long johns, I’ve got my eye on the sweet snuggle suits for the baby. Those little suits are perfect for night-time baby changing when you can’t be bothered with buttons or zips.
