SMUG – A quirky lifestyle store in Islington

SMUG is a wonderful little shop on one of my favourite streets in Islington,  Camden Passage. The street itself is home to lots of lovely independent boutiques, cosy cafes, restaurants and antique stalls; it’s a must see if you are exploring this part of town.

The quirky lifestyle store which can be found half way down the parade is pretty much my dream shop, combining vintage furniture, unique art and stationery, ceramics, houseplants and an extensive range of weird and wonderful succulents in all shapes and sizes.

You can tell that everything in the shop has been thoughtfully chosen for its great design and individuality. It’s one of those places that puts a smile on your face the minute you walk in and a perfect spot to pick up a unique gift or something special for the home.

As well as running the shop and designing her own product ranges, owner Lizzie also puts on regular teaching events at the shop including floristry, weaving, ceramics and lettering workshops. Tickets for these events can be purchased via the SMUG website.

SMUG: 13 Camden Passage, London, N1 8EA
