Cafe Cosmo

This cute little cafe/restaurant is one of my favourite crowd get aways. Although it is right in the middle of the city just off the Rambla de Catalunya, Cafe Cosmo is on a quiet pedestrian street with trees on both sides, and a garden at the end of the walk. Although not a Spanish eatery, this place benefits of having the comfort  afternoon snacks like a killer carrot cake or chocolate chip cookies, but also having salads sandwiches  quesadillas, and fantastic fresh juices.

The food is served quite quickly, but it is comforting to know that while you wait for you food whilst sitting at the little terrace the kids can have a little run around or play with a ball on the street just in front.

Only a few minutes walk away from the Rambla de Catalunya, here you tend to find a quiet and tranquil atmosphere despite being a trendy place. Large enough for prams and childrens scooters, you will be able to take a seat without worrying about parking your pram far from your side.

Cosmo is also used as a contemporary gallery, so you will often find interesting pieces on the walls mostly very colourful so can be fun for the kids to have a look around before you go.
