The famous high-end brand Tartine et Chocolat, soon to celebrate 40 years of iconic French kids fashion, just renovated it’s historical boutique in the center of Paris, on 266 boulevard Saint-Germain.
The sophisticated delicate and soft atmosphere of the new shop is the result of a collaboration between Emilie Zannier, president and art director of the brand and French interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon. It is a traditional French classic chic kind of design with just the right amount of modern touches to rejuvenate the brand’s historical heritage.
Dark wooden furniture pieces, also imagined by the designer, serve to beautifully display the clothes collections while the delightful chevron hardwood floors integrate hand-applied mosaic surfaces.
Léon the hedgehog, the brand’s mascot, makes appearances throughout the entire shop as he is playfully integrated in every detail from the mosaic to the beautiful wall-painting on the lower level of the boutique. Keep an eye out for his footprints on the wall when going downstairs where you will find the furniture and decor collection.
Tartine et Chocolat has always been one of my favorite brands for top quality traditional chic baby and kids clothes. Seeing the breath-takingly beautiful renovated store has only confirmed my love for the French Maison de Mode.
