My friend Sabine’s company Engel is all about partying. It became well-known for its bunting, but nowadays Engel offers everything you need to celebrate and decorate: big pompoms, fun party hats, colourful garlands, pretty paper flowers and so much more — it really is a party treasure cove. Engel also offers handy (and eco-friendly!) bamboo children’s tableware: sweet little sets including a cup, bowl and plate, and also a collection for parties, with a cake serving platter, cups, and matching cake plates.
When Sabine came over for lunch at my place about a year ago, my friend Julie from Famille Summerbelle was there as well, and it was decided there and then that Julie would make a design for the bamboo tableware. So fun! Last week, Julie invited my kids over for a fun ‘birthday party’ at her place — Sabine had made the most delicious cakes and my friend Jessica was there as well to take photos. How fun to inaugurate the amazing products my friends designed together!
Today the products were officially launched and they turned out so, so beautiful. The illustrations are so festive, and the colours are stunning. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these sets — they are just so pretty and so handy!
