Luna and Curious – an Independent Boutique for Children and Mamas too

Luna and Curious is an independent boutique tucked away down one of Shoreditch’s loveliest streets, Calvert Avenue. This unique store showcases the best in British made products, for women, children and the home.

Started by three female creatives back in 2006 the store has developed a well earned reputation for uncovering exciting new brands. Owners Polly George, Kaoru Parry and Rhianna Lingham set out to create what they describe as a mini department store. Featuring everything from children’s toys and clothes to beauty products, jewellery homewares and women clothes.

Each with a strong background in design the trio have a knack for spotting inspiring new trends and quality craftsmanship. Their products are all things that they genuinely love and also include exclusive in house designs. One of my favourite pieces is the delightful pom pom kids jumper seen below.

As the success of Luna and Curious has grown, so has their store. Earlier this year they expanded into the shop next door allowing them to showcase even more of their brilliant products. When I visited at the start of the summer they were just preparing to launch their newly renovated space which already looked great.  I can’t wait to pop back and take a look at all the lovely things they have filled it with.
