With a choice of six restaurants across London and more throughout the UK Jamie Oliver’s popular chain of Jamie’s Italian restaurants are exactly what you would expect from the much loved TV chef. Family friendly in every sense, authentic and fuss free with a focus on responsibly sourced, quality produce.
Fresh pasta is made on site every day and the meat is free range and higher welfare. There’s also an award winning children’s menu to please even the fussiest of eaters. His passion for rustic Italian cooking radiates throughout the menu — it’s far from your usual Italian high street fare. Dishes are simple and hearty with a classic Jamie Oliver twist.
After a lot of indecisiveness (except for the prosciutto plank which had us all at hello), we ordered a selection of tasty pasta dishes and a portion of the kids baby burgers because according to my daughter they sounded just too cute. They were!!
If you’re after a reasonably priced easy bite in a relaxed setting, Jamie’s Italian is worth a visit. My kids especially loved the fun activity pack which kept them entertained throughout the meal. Best of all kids eat for free this half term 11-26th February, check out the website for further details.
