At the start of the summer a friend of mine in the US wrote to tell me about the beautiful throwbeds from a brand called Hedgehouse. I had never heard of this brand before, but one glance at the website and I was obsessed! The towels, the pillows… and most of all, the throwbeds! How perfect are they for sleepovers and travel?!
I ordered a few cotton shirt cloth throwbeds knowing that we’d be staying with family for a couple months and that there would be times and places where beds would be limited. And I’m so glad I did — we’ve used these beds so much in the past few weeks. The girls even planned an outdoor slumber party on the deck of our beach house (see photos above)… but ended up coming inside, tugging their throwbeds behind them, when it got dark outside. ; )
The beds are 100% machine washable – both the inserts and the covers, and they roll up with a tie closure and fit inside a carry-case so they’re easy to transport from one place to the other (or keep in your cupboard for sleepovers!).
