Fun Forest Amsterdam is definitely worth a visit if you have older children that enjoy a bit of adventure (and aren’t afraid of heights). The Fun Forest is a climbing park made up of nine different climbing courses — each of which cater for different age groups and levels of experience. Using a combination of ropes, ladders, bridges and zip lines the climbing tracks are set high in the trees (from 4 to 15 metres) and offer a great challenge for both children and adults.
Fun Forest is situated right at the entrance to the Amsterdam forest, and the entire climbing park is in the forest – offering a beautiful and peaceful surrounding for your adventure. It is an exciting and very unique experience to be immersed in nature so high among the trees.
It is important to note that there are age and height restrictions for the different courses. The minimum age starts at 7 years old and caters all the way up to adults — some of the courses also require prior training before you can attempt them, so they really offer quite a challenge! For slightly younger children (aged 4-7) there is a smaller climbing playground that they can enjoy for free.
