On first glance, the Josefina bag looks like a beautiful, super stylish handbag — something you’d feel comfortable carrying into a business meeting or hanging over your arm on a date with your husband. Nothing about this bag says ‘baby’, and yet it happens to be an extremely practical, super handy nappy bag.
The Josefina nappy bag is beauty on the outside and brains on the inside. It is sleek and pretty, handcrafted by artisans in Spain from 100% cowhide, and has plenty of inside pockets to keep everything organised and tidy. After carrying around a big tote bag for the past couple years, I am loving the fact that when I need my phone or wallet, or when I need Wilkie’s hat or socks (or dummy… immediately!), I know exactly where to find them. Everything has its place.
Another handy feature of the Josefina Bag is the versatile strap system. Each bag has an optional longer shoulder strap with double snaps on each side for attaching to the buggy. So you can carry it by the handles, use the long strap to carry on your shoulders, or attach it to the stroller. So clever!
Lastly, the bags are customisable with your initials in font and colour of your choice. I opted for a simple CA on mine, which I really love — simple, understated, yet distinctly mine. I’ve never been much of a baby bag person — I’ve always just thrown what I need into a canvas tote — but I’ve recently become a nappy bag convert.
