La Coqueta, a new collection and a new London shop!!

We have been working with La Coqueta since they first opened their shop in the leafy neighbourhood of London’s Hampstead. I remember the day that Courtney and I visited that darling little store together. It was all so beautiful, and so tastefully decorated! There were so many surprisingly creative and fun details. I still remember the first window display: mason jars were hung in the window and used to display pretty accessories!

We loved discovering the first darling La Coqueta collection: beautiful, traditional clothing but with a contemporary twist. We met Celia, the Spanish owner and designer behind the brand, and got to know her as an enthusiastic and energetic person — a creative and busy bee, making sure everything was up to her standards and perfectly presented.

Celia has been busy growing her brand steadily over the past four years. We’ve witnessed collection after collection of gorgeousness! La Coqueta has been keeping true to their concept of modern traditionalism — always with that fun and fashionable take, making the pieces so perfectly relevant for the present day. The clothes are ideal for weekend or formal wear, but are also wonderful to play in. The dresses and dungarees, sweetly paired with knee socks, remind me of images of the era my grandparents grew up in. When children were always playing outside, building huts in the corn fields or catching fish from the ditch, with their cute outfits and sagging little socks.

New collection

The newest La Coqueta Autumn Winter collection, which has just launched this week, again is such a gem. There are timeless pieces in cool checks and Liberty prints combined with warm, wintery materials such as velvet and corduroy. Outfits are paired with ruffle collars and the quintessential knee socks, and of course there’s the occasional pop of colour to keep it all fun and fresh. As always, the collection is so tastefully presented. How cute are all of these models? (Some of the children are Celia’s own — she has five!)

New shop

Not only are we excited to announce this fabulous new collection, but (drum rolls please!) we are also very proud to present the opening of a second La Coqueta shop in London on the 8th of November! Make sure to drop by at 61 Ledbury Rd, W11 2AA if you’re in the hip and happening neighbourhood of Notting Hill. I’m positive Celia is there right now, making sure everything is wonderfully presented and tasteful decorated and the new, gorgeous collection is perfectly displayed. I’m sure this new location will be equally beautiful and full of creativity as her first shop in Hampstead!
